One-on-One Mentoring with The COLLECTIVE

You believe that everything is a struggle.  That peace is won by way of war, whether that’s a war with yourself, a war with someone that you care for or not, or wars between nations.  You think of peace as being won, instead of peace as being a state of being, a choice.  … You don’t need to have resolution in order to have peace.  Peace does not need to be won as much as it needs to be embraced.

The COLLECTIVE

We’re living in confusing times.  Everywhere we look there’s an opportunity to pick a side.  Peace seems fleeting within and without.

Thankfully, my work with The COLLECTIVE indicates that peace is wanted and sought by many.  The problem is that peace is subjective.  Ask anyone you know to define peace and watch them struggle to do so.   Peace is an individual experience.   One would think that would make it easier to obtain.  So why do we still struggle to relax and enjoy our lives?

The COLLECTIVE teaches that peace is found through compassion and acceptance – first for ourselves and then for others.  What makes that interesting is that their definition of compassion and acceptance is very different than our own.  In our minds and experience, compassion can frequently manifest as pity, and acceptance is interpreted to mean fatalism or endorsement, neither of which leads to peace.

Through their unique perspective, The COLLECTIVE helps us to understand that compassion and acceptance aren’t weaknesses but strengths.  Exercising either doesn’t lead to a loss of control, but a grasping of our own ability to heal ourselves and our societies of our addiction to conflict and confrontation.  It’s time to quit throwing up our hands and lay down our fear – fear of ourselves and fear of one another.

As with all our mentoring courses, The COLLECTIVE will take you on a journey inside yourself where you’ll discover you’re far more worthy, far more loving, and far more beautiful than you could have imagined.  They see the best in all of us, while also sharing their candid insights into our dark places that keep peace at bay.

Join us for this six-week dive into compassion and acceptance and let the light of The COLLECTIVE shine on you.

Peace as Acceptance

If we had any gift that we could give you … it would be peace. To be able to lay the head upon the pillow and to close the eyes at the end of the day and say, “These moments I have lived and now they are done, and tomorrow is another day.”  There aren’t any of you who do that, not really. And in order to cope and to thrive in the years to come, you’re going to have to learn.
